Rear Suspension
As you can guess, these will need to be replaced.
A pair of Ohlins piggyback shocks were in the garage and these would need a rebuild at quite a cost but as they are not Pre74 eligible so i can't see the point.
There seems to be a gap in the market. You can buy Hagon & NJB shoks for around £130 or Falcon shocks for £200 (Not sure why the falcon units would be better though) The next step up is for alloy shocks like Works and costs rise between £300 to £500.
The swing arm on BSA has been extended around 1 inch.
The rear of the Cheney frame has been completely modifyed (By Eric) and is not Pre74 eligible but it can be used in Circa74
