BSA Works Competition Department (BCD) Wheels
These were got bt Eric Cheney when the BSA Competition Department closed down and my dad bought them from him. The hubs are Magnesium alloy with 40 galv spokes and Dunlop high tensile rims.
The front is a 20 inch rim and the rear is a 18 inch rim.
These will be stripped down, cleaned up and rebuilt.
The front rim will have to be changed to a 21 inch rim due to the fact that that 20 inch scrambler tyres are no longer made. As i would like to have as near to factory spec as possible, the rear will use the Dunlop rim but i will change the spokes to polished stainless steel though not as strong, look pretty.
The Front brake shoes are Magnesium, the rear are aluminium with drilled holes and steel shims.

Rebuilt rear wheel
The rear 18 inch wheel has been cleaned and repainted in matt black then rebuilt with stainless steel spokes from Central wheel components.
